President Yoon's approval rating falls to the 20% range again = South Korea
A public opinion poll was released on the 30th showing that South Korean President Yoon Seok-yeol's approval rating has fallen again to the mid-20% range.
The Korean polling organization "Gallup Korea" conducted a survey of 100 men and women aged 18 and over from the 27th to the 29th of this month.
According to a survey of 2,020 people, President Yoon's approval rating was calculated to be 23% in the fifth week of August. This is a 4% drop from the previous survey (fourth week of August), while disapproval increased by 3%.
The reasons for supporting President Yoon were "diplomacy" (17%), "decisiveness, drive, and tenacity" (8%), "increasing the number of medical school students" (5%), and "economy and public welfare" (5%).
Reasons for disapproval included "the economy, public welfare, and prices" (14%), "increase in the number of medical school students" (8%), "lack of communication" (8%), and "arbitrary and one-sided" (7%).
Meanwhile, support for political parties was calculated as 30% for the ruling People Power Party, 31% for the Democratic Party, 7% for the Fatherland Reform Party, and 26% for independents.
The ruling party's approval rating fell 2% from the previous survey, while the Democratic Party's approval rating remained the same and the Fatherland Reform Party's approval rating fell 1%.
