The tvN variety programme ‘Sojin's House 2’, which aired on 30 September, depicted the last diner operation in Iceland.
When asked how he felt about his last day of work ahead of the last day of business, Lee So-jin said, ‘I really think it's my last’ and recommended that he should change the programme title already. He continued, ‘Do I do “Seojin's House”? Or do ‘Yumi's House’? Do ‘Minsi's House’ or do whatever you want’ and drew laughter.
On the last day of business, the meal time was limited to one hour and dessert was boldly removed. Instead, he prepared a diverse main menu for more than 200 people and decided to do business until he ran out of ingredients.
Unlike in the past, where one main chef and two interns, Go Min-si, were in charge of the kitchen, on this day, three people were in charge of the kitchen, including Chef Jung Yoo-mi, Chef Park So-jung and Koh Min-si, attracting much attention. The hall was the responsibility of the president, Lee So-jin, and the hall master, Choi Woo-shik.
Once the turnover war was conducted and the dishes were piled up, PD Na Yong-seok was put in as a part-time student, organising the dishes and overlapping the lines of movement with the kitchen chefs, to which Park So-jung mischievously said, "I'm worried about the part-time students."
Park Seo Jun said to the orders coming in again, "They come in like this, so I don't have time to rest. Get out of here. I want to be alone," he joked.
After four hours of operation without a break in the middle, intern Go Min-si was asked if he would do Sojin's House if the offer came up again, and he replied: ‘I would. At that time, I will be in a different position than I am now’ and expressed his ambition to “go up even further”.
Upon hearing this, PD Na Yeon-seok sarcastically said, "I'm a PD, but I'm washing dishes," which drew laughter. After finishing the third part of the sales, the employees had a meal time, and Lee So-jin revealed her goal "Today, I'm going to record the highest sales’ and ‘I have to exceed 6 million won."
Meanwhile, ‘Seojin Family 2’ is a story of the slapstick Korean restaurant operation of the president and employees who are serious about gomtang (a simple soup made by boiling beef meat and offal for a long time) at ‘Seojin Family 2’, which opened in cold windy Nordic Iceland.
