Police announce that former NCT member TAEIL has been referred to prosecutors for ”sex crimes”
TAEIL, who left the South Korean boy band NCT after being accused of sexual crimes, has been handed over to prosecutors without detention.
On the 12th, the Bangbae Police Station in Seoul announced that singer TAEIL had been referred to the prosecution.
It has been confirmed that the police filed charges against him on June 13th of this year after receiving a report from the victim.
On the 29th of last month, the management office of SM Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as SM) announced,
"SM Entertainment and TAEIL were first made aware of the fact that he had been sued in the middle of this month," and "TAEIL was questioned by the police on the 28th." However, SM Entertainment has not confirmed that TAEIL is being investigated for "sexual offenses."

Meanwhile, a police official said, "We cannot disclose the specific charges or the number of victims because the charges have not yet been filed," but added, "He was arrested on the 12th without being detained.
