“元恋人を盗撮”男性アイドルグループ出身ラッパー、控訴審で善処訴える
”Former member rapper of male idol group, who took secret photos of his girlfriend while blindfolded,” appeals for leniency after being found guilty in appeal court... ”I regret it”
Rapper A, a former member of a male idol group who is suspected of making his former girlfriend wear an eye patch and secretly filming her having sex, pleaded for leniency at the appeal hearing today (24th).
The first hearing of Mr. A's appeal was held at the Seoul Western District Court on the morning of the 24th. Mr. A is currently in custody.
On this day, Mr. A read a letter of apology and pleaded for leniency. In his final statement, Mr. A read the letter of apology and said, "I would like to express my honest feelings.
"This is my last chance to apologize. I apologize without the slightest excuse for my wrongdoing and all that has arisen from it."
He continued, "The more I think about it, the more regret I feel. I have vowed never to do anything like this again.
"I sincerely hope that the wounds of the victims will heal as soon as possible," he said, showing his remorse. Previously, in 2022, Mr. A blindfolded his then-girlfriend, Mr. B, and secretly filmed them having sex.
It is suspected that Mr. A took about 18 photos of Mr. B's body parts using a silent camera app for about a year until last year.
As soon as Mr. A found out about this, Mr. B immediately made the excuse that he had intended to watch it alone.
Although the allegations have not been confirmed, it is known that Mr. A also took pictures of other women in their underwear other than Ms. B. On the other hand, the prosecution determined that Mr. A's crime was not serious and sought a three-year prison sentence.
The court detained Mr. A and sentenced him to one year and six months in prison. It also ordered him to complete a 40-hour sexual assault program and to be restricted from working in child and disability-related organizations for three years.
At the time, the court explained the reason for the sentence, saying that the victim had requested severe punishment, saying, "Illegal filming causes irreparable harm to the victim, and the extent of the harm is extremely severe."
However, Mr. A's lawyer appealed the first-instance ruling, arguing for leniency. The appeal hearing was held today, where Mr. A read a letter of apology and once again appealed for leniency.
