Director Ryoo Seung-wan's new film "Veteran 2" has surpassed 1 million total viewers in just two days since its release.
According to ENM, "Veteran 2" surpassed one million cumulative viewers at around 2 p.m. that day.
This rate is faster than the previous 10 million-viewing film "Tombbreak/Bamyo" (1 million viewers on the third day of release), and is the same as the rate of "The Outlaws 4" starring Ma Dong-Seok.
On the day of its release, 'Veteran 2' attracted 497,000 viewers, and as of 3 p.m. on the same day, the number of pre-sale tickets was 549,000, with a pre-sale rate of 76.4%.
The second highest pre-sale rate among the released films was "Lim Young Woong | I'm a Hero, the Stadium" (16,000 people, 2.3%), and the third highest was "Bread Barbershop: Pansun."
