South Korea's Presidential Office: ”We will closely monitor provocative moves by North Korea... and use strong force to restrain them”
On the 18th, the South Korean presidential office responded to North Korea's provocative moves, including the launch of a short-range ballistic missile (SRPM), by saying, "We will closely monitor (additional) provocative moves and will take appropriate measures to protect the lives and safety of our people."

"We will strongly restrain North Korean provocations based on the Japan-US-ROK security cooperation," he said. "This is a stern warning against North Korean provocations, and we will take all measures, including scattering garbage balloons, seriously."
"They should immediately stop their provocative actions."
