Kim Yo-jong: ”We will strengthen our nuclear capabilities to the limit” as US nuclear submarine enters South Korea port - North Korea

North Korea's Kim Yo-jong, vice director of the Workers' Party, said on the 24th that in response to the US nuclear submarine's arrival in Busan, South Korea, "we will strengthen our nuclear capabilities as much as possible."
In a statement released to the state-run Korean Central News Agency that afternoon, Kim said, "The United States is suppressing our Republic and other independent sovereign states with force,
"In order to rein in its flock of anxious and restless followers, it has created various military blocs in the region and is committing all its nuclear and strategic assets to the Korean Peninsula and its surrounding areas," he said.
"As our national security is constantly exposed to the nuclear threat of the United States, our national security and defense capabilities to respond to and counter various external threats are becoming more and more complex," he said.
"We must sustainably and infinitely strengthen our nuclear war deterrent capability in terms of both quality and quantity," he said.
