Jeon Hae-in's new film ‘Veteran 2’ deals with a recent social phenomenon that defines itself by a ‘like’ comment left casually by someone.
In a recent interview with Herald POP at a café in Seoul's Chungno (Jongno) district, Jeon Hae-in said that he is a person who watches reactions closely.
On that day, Jung Hae-in confided, "I think it is right that I have to catch the reaction of the public because I am a person who does popular art," and that he thinks he has to grasp what kind of needs there are.
He continued, "Of course there are bad reactions. It's impossible not to get hurt by the bad comments" and added, “If I get hurt, I can heal again through people who love me”.
Jung Hae-in also said, "There may be people who don't care about me or don't like me for no reason, but there are also people who love me blindly" and "‘I can't not be hurt by the malicious comments, but that doesn't mean I should forget my fans and family who support me. We are in the process of learning how to defend ourselves. I think we should accept any reaction with humility."
Meanwhile, Jung Hae-in's return to the screen, ‘Veteran 2’, is an action crime investigation drama in which the youngest detective Park Seong-woo (Jung Hae-in) joins the powerful criminal investigation team of veteran detective Seo Do-cheol (Hwang Jung-min), who catches bad guys until the end, to pursue a serial killer who has caused a stir in the world and is currently screening to rave reviews.
