South Korea's Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs: ”Friendly economic cooperation relations with Japan will be maintained”

On the 4th, South Korea's Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Strategy and Finance Choi Sang-mok said about the inauguration of the new Cabinet under Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, "As the new Japanese prime minister has always emphasized the importance of Korea-Japan relations, I think it is important to strengthen friendly relations.
"We expect that the economic cooperation between the two countries will continue in a strategic manner," he said.

The theme of this conference was "The direction of economic cooperation after the inauguration of the new Japanese cabinet and the trends and future prospects of the Chinese economy."
Regarding this, experts said, "The friendly relations between Korea and Japan that were established in the previous administration will continue, and in addition to strengthening cooperation in the areas of semiconductors, startups, and energy, we will also work to expand regional economies and the Korea-Japan partnership."
