China Association of Automobile Manufacturers reports September auto exports of 539,000 units

On the 12th, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released September automobile production and sales data. According to the released data, the number of automobiles produced in September increased 12.2% from the previous month to 2.796 million units.
Sales volume increased 14.5% to 2.809 million units. Compared to the same month last year, sales were down 1.9% and 1.7%, respectively.
In terms of exports, the number of automobile exports increased by 5.4% compared to the previous month and 21.4% compared to the same month last year.
In the same month, new energy vehicle (NEV) production volume increased 48.8% year-on-year to 1.307 million units, while sales volume increased 42.3% year-on-year to 1.287 million units.
