Bitget has become the second most downloaded cryptocurrency app in the world.
In a recent blog post, Bitget announced that its native wallet now has 40 million users.
The number of users has surpassed 100,000, which is a growth rate of over 100% since March. The wallet recorded 6 million downloads in just the month of September.
Get cited the TON ecosystem and its integration with Telegram as the main driver of its growth this year. The team said, "Thanks to the integration, users can now use the social media messenger app more easily.
"Now that wallet services can be used directly through the app, the connection between the Web2 platform and the Web3 space has become smoother."
During the third quarter, TON on-chain addresses grew by 4,866%. BitGet said, "We are seeing rapid growth in users in emerging markets, including Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East.
"The number of users of BitGet wallets has increased steadily, with some regions seeing an increase of up to 413%," the company said.
The currency app continues to top the charts despite its regulatory difficulties, recording 9.9 million downloads in September alone.
Binance has dominated the crypto and fintech download charts during the 2024 bull run. In Q1, it gained 1.2 billion downloads in trading and Web3 functions.
The mobile app for the platform, which has the same functionality, has been downloaded over 6.3 million times. However, its dominance seems to have significantly declined. Binance’s spot market share
