Woo Kyung Joon of Korean boy group THE NEW SIX (TNX) is leaving the group.

　On the 23rd, Woo Kyung Joon's agency P NATION said, "First of all, we are sorry to deliver heavy news to the fans who have been sending their unreserved love to THE NEW SIX", and added, "Recently, Woo Kyung Joon voluntarily applied for military enlistment and informed our company of his military service. Since then, he has informed us that he has no intention to participate in the group activities of THE NEW SIX."

　His agency stated, "We respect Woo Kyung Joon's opinion and have agreed to terminate the contract and withdraw from THE NEW SIX with him on the 23rd October 2024. We discussed this matter in depth with the members of THE NEW SIX and from now on, THE NEW SIX will continue their activities with the five-member line-up of Choi Tae Hoon, Jang Hyun Soo, Jung Jun Hyuk, Eun Hui and Oh Sung Joon."

　Meanwhile, ‘THE NEW SIX’ recently appeared on Mnet's survival programme ‘ROAD TO KINGDOM : ACE OF ACE’.

Recently, Woo Kyung Joon voluntarily applied for military enlistment and informed the Company that he has no intention to participate in the group activities of ‘THE NEW SIX’ after his military service.

In response, the Company respected Woo Kyung Joon's opinion and agreed with him to terminate the contract and withdraw from ‘THE NEW SIX’ as of 23 October 2012.

We discussed this matter with the members of ‘THE NEW SIX’ in depth, and from now on ‘THE NEW SIX’ plans to continue their activities with the five-member line-up of Choi Tae-hoon, Jang Hyun-su, Jung Jun-hyuk, Eun-hi and Oh Sung-jun.
