The party will also push ahead with a bill to amend the current law regarding the recommendation issue of directors recommended by the People's Power. Aki said, "I want the National Assembly Speaker to complete the National Assembly's recommendation procedures as soon as possible, including the directors recommended by the People's Power."
"We will propose a bill to amend the law relating to foundations as a party resolution, and we plan to propose a bill that would allow recommendations for directors to be received within a certain period of time," he said.
Aki emphasized, "(The issues of recommending the director of the North Korean Human Rights Foundation and recommending the special inspector) will be carried out simultaneously, but they are not linked issues."
On the same day, Cho also said that the third amendment to the Kim Gun-Hee Special Prosecutor Act, which was passed by the plenary session under the leadership of the opposition party, "has the right to request a second vote from the president as a party resolution (rejection)."
