Korea Culture and Content Agency successfully concludes '2024 Content Startup DEMO DAY'
The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) will be working with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to announce the outstanding results of support projects for content startup companies over the past year.
"2024 KOCCA Content Startup DEMO DAY" was held on the 22nd at the CKL Stage in Jung-gu, Seoul.
This event was held to celebrate the success of the content startup support project.
The event was established to introduce entrepreneurs and startup companies, and will consist of a variety of programs, including IR pitching, an award ceremony for outstanding companies, an exhibition of the results of supported projects, and a networking event.
Around 180 people including investors, startup support organizations, and related companies participated in the event to discuss investment attraction and business opportunities for promising content companies.
The IR pitching contest, which had a total prize of 170 million won (approximately 18.6 million yen), was held with 14 studios selected through self-evaluation.
The Grand Prize was awarded to VERSE WORK, with the Best Award and Excellence Awards also awarded to promising companies from a variety of fields.

This year, KOCCA will provide step-by-step customized support and investment collaboration programs for 160 startups to build a private-sector-centered startup ecosystem.
"Through cooperation with the private sector, we will increase our expertise in startup support and create a sustainable startup ecosystem," said Yoo Hyun-suk, acting president of KOCCA.
