Ukraine in chaos after 188 drones attack Russia's biggest drone attack to date

Russia has launched its largest-ever drone attack on Ukraine, destroying buildings and causing widespread power outages.

Between the night of the 28th and the morning of the 26th, Russia sent 188 attack drones to Ukraine, the largest scale of Russian drone attacks since the start of the Ukrainian war.
"A large-scale drone attack hit infrastructure facilities, damaging apartment buildings and other buildings in various regions," the Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement.
"Several residential buildings were also damaged in the outskirts of the capital, Kiev. No casualties have been reported," he said.
"Around 70 percent of the region is without power," he said, adding that "considerable damage has been done to facilities, which will have a long-term impact on the electricity supply throughout the region."
It was a large city with a population of over one million people before the outbreak. Prior to this, Russia had announced that Ukraine had recently launched three attacks on its mainland using the US-made long-range missile ATACMS.
The US has been teasing a retaliatory attack in response.
