Director Jang Jaehyun won the Best Director award at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards, held at the KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul on the 29th.

In his acceptance speech, Director Chang said, "Just being nominated alongside these people is a great honor.
"I feel humbled," he said, "I'm glad to receive the award, thinking it's a sign of encouragement to do my best."
He also expressed his gratitude to the geographer and other staff members. He also said, "I would like to thank the staff on set and actors Yoo Hae-jin, Lee Do-hyun, Kim Go-eun, and others."
Finally, Director Chang said, "Someone said they wanted to come with us today, but they couldn't stand the lack of nicotine during the long awards ceremony so they skipped."
He added, "I dedicate this honor to the great actor Choi Min Sik, who is like a talisman to me, sometimes like the president of a catering company, sometimes like a father, sometimes like a friend."
On the same day, "Tomb Broken/Pamyo" won the awards for Best Director, Best Actress, Best Art Direction, and Best Cinematography.
It was a work of the same genre, drawing a total of 11.91 million viewers and making it into the "10 million movie" category.
