Ukraine: 2,000 North Korean troops deployed to Russian forces to take part in ”combat”

On the 3rd (local time), Ukrainian authorities announced that "2,000 of the North Korean troops deployed to the Ukraine war have joined Russian forces and are fighting on the front lines."
According to the Ukrainian newspaper Kyiv Post, Andriy Chernyak, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (HUR), said in an interview with local radio that "200
"North Korean troops are deployed to Russia's marine brigade and airborne division and are actively participating in combat, while the remaining 9,000 are in reserve," it said.
"They may not be on the front line, but they are still aggressors and opponents of Ukraine's aggression," Chernyak said.
Prior to this, Ukrainian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Barilevich said, "More than 11,000 North Korean troops are stationed in Kursk, Russia, and some of them
engaged in combat with Ukrainian forces."
