On the 29th of last month, the Democratic Party of Korea forced through next year's budget bill, which only reflected the cuts made by the National Assembly, at the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts.
The Speaker of the National Assembly called for the ruling and opposition parties to reach an agreement by the 10th of this month, and postponed bringing the budget cut bill to the plenary session.
