At around 9:07 a.m. on the 29th, Jeju Airlines Flight 7C2216 from Bangkok, Thailand, crashed while attempting to land on the runway at Muan International Airport.
The aircraft collided with the runway wall and caught fire. There were 181 people on board, including 157 passengers and 6 crew members, and all on board died except for two rescuers.
