"2024 MBC Gayo Daejejeon" has canceled its live broadcast. On the 30th, MBC expressed its deepest condolences to the victims and their families of the passenger plane accident that occurred yesterday, and announced that the broadcast will be canceled on December 31st.

At around 9:07 a.m. on the 29th, Jeju Airlines Flight 7C2216 from Bangkok, Thailand, crashed while attempting to land on the runway at Muan International Airport.
The aircraft collided with the runway wall and caught fire. There were 181 people on board, including 157 passengers and 6 crew members, and all on board died except for two rescuers.
