Singer Jay Park has canceled his appearance at the Tokyo concert to participate in the mourning for the Jeju Airlines passenger plane disaster.
On the 30th, VISION said, "First of all, we would like to express our condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the victims and surviving families of the tragic passenger plane accident that occurred on December 29th."
Prior to this, Jeju Air Flight 7C2216, which departed from Bangkok, Thailand, lost its landing gear while landing at Muan Airport at around 9:03 a.m. on the 29th.
Unable to do so, the plane left the runway and collided with the airport's outer wall, immediately breaking out into fire. All 179 passengers on board, except for the two crew members, died.
