Macau to see 35 million visitors in 2024: Chinese report

The Macau Police Bureau recently announced that the number of tourists entering Macau in 2024 will be 34,932,000, up 23.6% from the previous year. Of these, 20% will be tourists from mainland China.
The total number of people entering and leaving Macau at its border checkpoints in 2024 is expected to reach 210 million, up 17.5% from the previous year.
By checkpoint, the number of people entering and leaving China at the Guanzha Port was 110 million, accounting for 52.7% of the total, followed by the Qingmao Port with 35.09 million people, 1.
The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Port accounted for 6.3% with a total of 26.175 million visitors, accounting for 12.2%, and the Hengqin Port accounted for 10.6% with a total of 22.815 million visitors.
