Jeju Air Disaster: 179 victims' bodies have been collected... 103 bodies returned to their families

Of the 179 victims of the Jeju Air Disaster at Muan Airport, 103 bodies have been returned to their families. The Ministry of Interior and Safety handed over the bodies of the 103 victims to their families as of 5 p.m. on the 4th.
The remaining 76 bodies are currently being stored in a temporary facility at Muan Airport in Muan County, South Jeolla Province, and will be handed over one after another on the same day.
The completion of the recovery of the bodies means that the process of reassembling the bodies of each victim has been concluded. As of the nighttime search on the 3rd, the government had recovered a total of 1,013 pieces of the bodies of the victims.
However, on the same day, another piece of the body was discovered at the scene. The bereaved families decided to hold a joint funeral for the additional body parts found at the scene, and then prepare a memorial tower or other memorial space to hold the body in a new state.
Some of the bereaved families have been holding funerals since the 31st of last month, and on the 2nd, the first funeral procession was held, with some funeral formalities completed.
