He also pointed out that "if the charge of treason had been excluded, the impeachment bill would not have passed."
The attorneys said, "The lawmakers voted after considering the grounds for prosecution and suspended the non-prosecutor (President Yoon) from exercising his powers."
"The fact that some of the reasons can be withdrawn at the discretion of the prosecution committee violates the voting rights of the participating lawmakers," he said.
He continued, "Impeachment proceedings will be filed against the president for insurrection and for non-violence.
"This is an entirely different assessment from impeaching because the act of declaring martial law was inappropriate."
