On the same day, Rep. Yoon wrote on Feibook that the Public Prosecutors' Office "does not have the authority to investigate the 'crime of treason.'"
Yoon said, "The crime of treason is investigated by the police, and arrest and search warrants are also applied for by the police.
"It is lawful to do so," he said, adding, "President Yoon Seok-yeol has pointed out these legal issues and has so far refused to cooperate with the Public Prosecutor's Office's investigation and the execution of arrest warrants."
"(President Yoon's side) said, "Nevertheless, the sacrifices of the people and related public officials are so great that there is a high possibility of a bloody incident.
"The prosecutor's office has decided that the charges are unlawful and has stated that it will abide by the court's orders if the prosecutor's office files charges or requests a prior arrest warrant," he said. "However, the prosecutor's office is insisting that it will enforce the arrest warrant."
Yoon said, "Even so, why are you forcing the execution of the arrest warrant?" and "Are you trying to humiliate the president and spread public opinion at all costs?"
Are they going to take them to court? If not, just as Democratic Party lawmaker Lee Sang-sik was in fact in collusion with the National Police Agency's National Investigation Agency, the Public Prosecutors' Office was also following orders from the Democratic Party.
"Does this mean that they are doing this?" he pointed out.
