The Public Prosecutor's Office sent the Seoul Detention House a "Notice of Prohibition of Visits to the Suspect," which includes the above-mentioned content. The "prohibition of visits" is a measure that is immediately implemented upon notification from the investigative agency.
This will have the effect of preventing President Yoon's family, including his wife Kim Gun Hee, and others from receiving visitors.
The ban on meetings with President Yoon will be in place until he is indicted.
"It is unreasonable to consider that outsiders who are not involved in the investigation are in a position to conceal evidence or have a direct connection to the case," so the Public Prosecutor's Office's measures are "due to the fact that President Yoon's side is likely to file a suit for detention in the future."
