Seo Kang Joon, ”Undercover High School is my first work since Discharge. I'm more excited than nervous.”

Actor Seo Kang Joon talked about the appeal of "Undercover High School". MBC's new Fri-Sat TV series "Undercover High School" is scheduled to start broadcasting on the 21st at 9:50 pm.
It is a TV series that depicts the antics of a high school student who is a National Intelligence Service agent who disguises himself as a high school student and goes undercover to track down the whereabouts of Emperor Gojong's missing gold bars.
In the drama, Seo Kang Joon plays Jung Hye Seong, an ace agent of the National Intelligence Service's 4th domestic team.
He is sent into the "Undercover High School" operation with the special mission of searching for Emperor Gojong's gold, which leads to an unexpected high school experience.
Ahead of the first broadcast, Seo Kang-Joon said, "It was fascinating because it had a variety of genres, including comic, action, human, and crime.
He talked about what led him to choose to make it into a TV series, saying, "I thought it was a good piece because there was a message behind the comic that was unique to this work."
Seo Kang Joon is a kind and passionate person on the surface, but he also has a lonely side on the inside.
He added, "I went to an action school to practice so that I could act well in the action scenes as an NIS agent. I also focused more on the character of Hye-sung.
"So I thought deeply about what kind of person this character is. So I focused on the character's background and emotions to think about how I could best express it."
He also talked about acting with the actors, saying, "When the script or the character is faced with a difficult situation, Jin Ki Joo solves it with the endearing charm that only that actor has."
He has great power. He is an actor who is honest with us from moment to moment, so depending on what kind of stimulation I give him, a new side of him appears, and it was fun acting with him."
"I was also impressed by his chemistry with the other actors. We had many discussions about acting during breaks and it made me realize once again that he is a good actor who takes his acting seriously."
Finally, he added, "It's been a while since I last saw him in a production since Discharge. I'm more excited than nervous."
Meanwhile, "Undercover High School" will begin airing in Korea at 9:50 pm on the 21st.
