Recently, a video titled "Seungri (V.I.) Latest Update" spread through the online community.
The video includes V.I dancing on a Korean street with three Chinese influencers and a woman holding a camera; V.I seems to be shouting numbers in Chinese to the music and screams, "My hair," when her hair gets messy in the wind. The women even burst out laughing at this.
The video went viral, and netizens spit out cold reactions such as, "He's really living rich even though he committed a crime," "That's amazing," and "He's so brazen.” However, on the 10th, Herald POP confirmed that the video was not V.I.'s latest recent life.
In 2019, a Chinese influencer said at the time that V.I was at the center of the issue in the Burning Sun situation, "I miss you very much and hope all goes well. Wish him all the luck in the world (I couldn't upload this video because I thought it would ruin my image)," along with the sentence "I wish him all the luck in the world.” The comment also still directs V.I. and is eye-catching.
V.I. was named as the core person of "Burning Sungate," left the group "BIGBANG," was sentenced to one year and six months in prison for nine charges, including habitual gambling, violation of the Special Law on Punishment of Sexual Violence Crimes (using cameras and other equipment to film), violation of the Sex Trafficking Punishment Law, and business embezzlement, and was fully released from prison in February 2023. He was released from prison in February 2023.
