South Korean opposition leader: ”If early presidential elections are held, a coalition excluding far-right rebellion forces will win a landslide victory”
On the 12th, Kim Sun-min, head of the Fatherland Reform Party, said, "I will state clearly that if the impeachment of the leaders of the December 3rd rebellion is confirmed and an early presidential election is held, the people who have ruled the country, excluding the far-right rebellion forces, will be the ones to win the election."
"We must unite all of us and seize power through an overwhelming victory," he said.
"There is only one way to put an end to this and restore constitutional order," Kim said. "Only if a coalition that excludes the far-right rebellious forces wins an overwhelming victory and takes power can we put an end to the far-right fascists."
"We can eliminate this problem as soon as it has germinated," he said, stressing, "All those who believe in protecting the constitution and a democratic republic must unite."
Kim also called this solidarity a "new majority coalition," saying, "We will promote peace and prosperity, not confrontation, hatred, or exclusion."
Democratic citizens who call for coexistence must unite in strong solidarity," he said. "Within that framework of solidarity, we must show a completely new image of Korea."
