Actor Won Bin, who co-starred in the movie ”Ajusshi”, pays tribute to the late Kim Sae Ron's body after a 15-year hiatus

Actor Won Bin mourned the late actress Kim Sae-ron, with whom he co-starred in the film ‘Ajosi’.

　Won Bin visited Kim Sae-ron's mortuary prepared at the funeral home of Asan Hospital in Seoul on the afternoon of the 17th (today) to pay his respects. Earlier, actresses Han So-hee and Kim Bora also visited the morgue with sad faces to mourn the deceased.

　Won Bin co-starred with Kim Sae-ron in the film Ajosi, released in 2010. He and his wife, actress Lee Na-young, sent wreaths and mourned the deceased as soon as the morgue was prepared.

　Kim Sae-ron was found dead at home on the 16th. According to the police, they were dispatched after receiving a call from a friend who had arranged to meet Kim Sae-ron, but she was already dead. A police official explained that, "No traces of intrusion from the outside or any other criminal-related suspicions were found, but the circumstances of her death are still under investigation."

　Kim Sae-ron, who made her showbiz debut in 2001 as a magazine model, began her acting career in the 2009 film ‘The Little Bird of Winter’. She appeared in the film and was invited to the Cannes Film Festival, one of the world's three biggest film festivals (Cannes, Venice and Berlin), as the youngest actor. She attracted attention as a child actor with her sensitive performance in the 2010 film ‘Ajosi’, and has since appeared in films ‘I'm a Dad - Endless Revenge’, “The Neighbours”, “Barbie”, “My Girl”, “The Devil Writes in the Dark”, “Snow Road”, “Guardian Teacher”, the drama ’Can You Hear My Heart?’ , ‘What's Your Mother Said’, ‘Queen's Classroom’, ‘Love On High School’, ‘Splendid Temptation’, ‘Witch Treasure Book - Ho Jun, Young Love’, ‘Leverage: the Fraud Operation Squad’ and ‘Excellent Mudang Ka Dusim’, etc., and was very active.

　However, in May 2022, she caused a drunk driving accident near Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, which was surrounded by commotion. At the time, the accident damaged a transformer and the surrounding shopping area suffered a power failure. At the time of the accident, Kim Sae-ron refused to take a breathalyzer test at the scene and requested a blood test, the results of which showed that his blood alcohol level was 0.2%, the level at which her licence would be revoked. In the aftermath of this incident, she had a period of self-restraint.
