Fire at cosmetics factory in Hwaseong, South Korea, extinguished after 13 hours

A fire that broke out at a cosmetics manufacturing factory in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, was fully extinguished after 13 hours.
At around 4:35 a.m. on the 26th, a fire broke out at a cosmetics manufacturing factory in Yanggam-myeon, Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The fire was completely extinguished about 13 hours later. Due to the risk of the fire spreading rapidly, fire authorities issued a response level 1 order at around 4:48 a.m. that day and mobilized over 100 fire engines and other equipment.
The fire was put out at around 5:40 p.m. One employee who was staying in the factory dormitory was evacuated when the fire broke out. Three three-story factory buildings were completely burned down in the fire. No casualties were reported.
Police and fire authorities believe that a fire that started in a vinyl greenhouse near the factory spread to the factory, and are currently investigating the cause of the fire.
