Opposition party releases additional recording of Myung Tae-gyun... ”Mrs. Kim suspected of interfering in gubernatorial election” = South Korea

South Korea's Democratic Party has released additional audio recordings of political broker Myung Tae-gyun, which contain allegations that Kim Gun-hee's wife interfered in the 2022 South Gyeongsang Provincial gubernatorial election.
At the time, Yoon Han-hong, a lawmaker from the People Power Party, gave up running for governor of South Gyeongsang Province, and it is said that Kim was involved in this.
On the 27th, the Democratic Party released a recording of a conversation that Myung is believed to have had with an acquaintance on March 8, 2022.
At the time, Myung told an acquaintance about the contents of a phone call between Kim and Rep. Yoon that he had heard from Kim, and the acquaintance said, "Rep. Yoon told Kim that he had no intention of running for governor."
Myung claimed, "Mrs. Kim told me, 'Rep. Yoon is a person without greed.'" Prior to this, the Democratic Party said that Myung had filed a lawsuit against Rep. Yoon's office around March 2, 2022.

The Democratic Party said, "The recording released last November and the recording released this time were recorded on March 2nd.
"The two recordings match in that Myung blocked Rep. Yoon's actions and Mrs. Kim intervened in related personnel matters," he said.
In response to this, Rep. Yoon issued a statement saying, "It is not true," and "I have never called or spoken with Mrs. Kim at that time.
"In light of the circumstances at the time and my character, not a single thing in the statement matches the facts," he said. "There is no mention of me having had a conversation with Mrs. Kim regarding my candidacy for governor or my campaign promises.
"This is an outrageous story that Myung Tae-gyun shared with an acquaintance of his to put on a brave face regarding his campaign promises."
