President Yoon Seok-yeol's legal team has requested the Constitutional Court to "immediately dismiss the case." President Yoon Seok-yeol's side issued a statement on the 1st, saying, "The Constitutional Court can still make the right decision.

"Even the slightest procedural flaw, including the importance of democratic legitimacy, should not be tolerated," he said. President Yoon Seok-yeol's side said, "If the Constitutional Court does not reject the presidential impeachment trial, we will continue to pursue our goal.
"This will set a totalitarian precedent of making the fatal mistake of ignoring procedures and pursuing a new government," he said, adding, "This will be recorded as an indelible, anti-democratic, dark chapter in our constitutional history."
