”Change of government” 55.1%, ”Extending government” 39.0%... Largest opposition party ”tops” in party approval ratings = South Korea

The results of a public opinion poll in South Korea were announced on the 3rd, showing that "the number of people who support a change of government has surpassed the number who support an extension of the government." The poll was conducted by the South Korean public opinion research organization "Real Meter" on the 26th to 28th of last month, and was conducted among people aged 18 or over.
The survey of 1,506 voters on the "Favourability of the ruling party in the next presidential election" showed that 55.1% of respondents wanted a "change of government by the opposition party," while 50.2% wanted the "ruling party to remain in power."
The total number of people who answered "I don't know" was 39.0%. Compared to the survey conducted a week ago, the number of people who said "I want to change the government" rose by 6.1 percentage points, while the number of people who said "I want to extend the government" rose by 6.
A 3 percentage point drop. In a survey of party approval ratings, the approval rating of the main opposition Democratic Party of Korea (Democratic Party) was 44.2%, while the ruling People Power Party was 37.6%.
The Democratic Party's approval rating rose 3.1 percentage points from the previous survey conducted a week ago, while the ruling party's approval rating fell 5.1 percentage points.

The Democratic Party leader, Kim Moon-soo, recorded 46.3% of the votes. He was followed by Minister of Employment and Labor Kim Moon-soo with 18.9%, former ruling party leader Han Dong-hoon with 6.9%, and former Democratic Party leader Hong Jun-pyo with 6.7%.
The mayor of Daegu was next with 6.8%, followed by Seoul Mayor Oh Sehun with 5.1%.
