A woman in her 40s who scattered fish sauce and animal excrement in front of the entrance of a resident living below her in an apartment building who was protesting noise pollution has been ordered to stay away from the victim.
On the 13th, Yangju Police Station in Gyeonggi Province announced that it had booked and was investigating a woman in her 40s for charges of property damage and violating the Stalking Punishment Act.
From the 2nd to the 6th of this month, suspect A scattered fish sauce and animal excrement in front of the entrance and hallway of Ms. B, a resident on the floor below, in an apartment in Yangju City, a total of six times, and painted graffiti with lacquer paint.
Ms. B claims that the retaliatory actions of suspect A began after she went upstairs to protest about the noise issue.
After receiving the report, the police summoned suspect A for questioning. However, it is reported that suspect A completely denies the allegations.
In order to protect the suspect, the police applied to the court for provisional measures such as a restraining order, and the court accepted the request and issued a restraining order on suspect A to stay within five meters of the suspect.
Meanwhile, police are conducting further investigations, including analyzing CCTV footage.
