10-year-old elementary school student dies in accident while riding on the back of his father's motorcycle on the way to school in South Korea

An elementary school student was killed in a collision with a car while riding on the back of his father's motorcycle on his way to school.
On the 14th, at around 8:17 a.m. on the 11th, a motorcycle collided with a passenger car near the Sports Park in Dunpo-myeon, Asan City.
The car was trying to enter a larger road from a farm road when it was hit by a passing motorcycle.
In the accident, A-kun (10), an elementary school student riding on the back of the motorcycle, lost consciousness and was taken to the hospital, where he died.
The motorcycle driver, Mr. B (in his 40s), suffered minor injuries, and the passenger car driver, Mr. C (in his 70s), also suffered minor injuries.
It was confirmed that A and B were father and son, and it was reported that A had been involved in an accident while riding his motorcycle to school.
The investigation revealed that neither the motorbike driver nor the car driver had been drinking.
The police plan to file charges against the driver of the car, Mr. C, for violations of the Special Act on Traffic Accident Handling and other charges, and to investigate the matter.
