Lee Byung Hun revealed how he remembered the TV series "All In" while filming the movie "The Battle."
The photoshoot took place on the afternoon of the 19th at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Director Kim Hyun Joo and actors Lee Byung Hun, Go Chang-seok, Hyun Bong-sik, and Moon
Jeong Hee and Jo Woo Jin participated in the game. The game is about Korea's greatest Go legend, Cho Hun Hyun (played by Lee Byung Hun), who loses a match against his disciple and then returns to the game with his natural competitive spirit.
The story is about a man who takes on the challenge of becoming a Go champion. The story of the real-life Go legend Cho Hun-hyun is brought to the big screen. Lee Byung Hun said, "This is what really happened to Cho Hun-hyun, 9th dan.
But I wondered if something so TV Series-like could actually happen. He lost to the student he taught, and then he challenged the student again and again... It was a TV Series-like situation that I couldn't believe actually happened.
I met Cho Hoon-hyun 9th Dan, and I thought he was Cha Min-soo, the character I played in the TV series All In.
"I was told that Min-soo and I were best friends, playing Go together since we were young," he added. "I suddenly thought, but in this movie, there are scenes where you challenge yourself to win a fierce match.
"I thought the feelings I had in that film were similar to those of a gambler. 'All In' is also about gambling and gamblers, so I thought there were a lot of similarities between the two films."
The movie "Shobu" will be released on the 26th.
