"Kal, the Sword of Godu Mohan" is set two years after the fall of Pyongyang Fortress in Goguryeo, and tells the story of a warrior who has lost his memory and who plunges into a bloody battle between five tribes in order to obtain the sword of Godu Mohan, a legendary sword from Goguryeo.
It is a work that depicts a tragic sword fight.
This is the latest work by director Kim Han-min, who also directed "The Sea of Death."
The film is scheduled to begin shooting in August, with distribution handled by Netflix. Park Bo-Gum is known for his role in the film "Battle of the Oceans" when he was still a rookie.
Having previously worked with director Kim Han-min on "The Great Passage," there is interest in whether they will team up again now that he has grown into a top actor.
Meanwhile, Park BoGum has recently been receiving a lot of love for his role as Kwang-sik in the Netflix series "Thank You."
