South Korea's ruling party lawmakers say president may return to office if PM's impeachment rejected

Rep. Na Kyung-won of the ruling People Power Party of South Korea expressed her dissatisfaction with the Constitutional Court's decision to dismiss the impeachment proceedings against Acting President and Prime Minister Han Deok-soo.
On the 24th, Rep. Na wrote on Fei Book that the Constitutional Court's decision was "a late lament. It's too late.
"It is too late," it said. "Prime Minister Han's return to his duties is an important opportunity to restore the country's head of state's diplomacy and quickly address the issues of foreign credibility and the tariff and trade war."
The Constitutional Court dismissed the impeachment of Acting Prime Minister Han by five dismissals, two rejections, and one confirmation.
"Acting President Han should immediately begin a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump and proactively respond to the tariff war," Rep. Na said.
"It is time for the impeachment of President Yoon," he said. "A date for the announcement (regarding the impeachment of President Yoon) should be set as soon as possible, and a decision on whether to reject or dismiss the case should be made based on the constitution, the law, and legal conscience."
Based on the Constitutional Court's decision, it is predicted that the president will be reinstated, even though it is a sensitive matter. The Constitutional Court will no longer be influenced by political judgments and will immediately begin the impeachment trial of the president.
