This is their first time working together on a film. From Cheju Island in the 1960s to Seoul in 2025, the story follows the trajectories and bonds of the lives of Ae-seung and Gwang-sik, as well as those around them, as the seasons change.
It has been about four weeks since the global STREAM began on Friday, March 7th. The show has been a big hit, making it into the Netflix weekly global TOP 10 (non-English series) for two consecutive weeks on March 10th and March 17th.
This story, which has touched the hearts of many people, moved them with emotion, sympathy, laughter and tears, is finally coming to its final chapter.
The daughter, Geum-myeong, who was raised with unchanging love from Ji-seung and Kwang-sik, is getting married. The video also includes her adorable appearance in a wedding dress and her parents watching over their daughter's special day.

The scriptwriter, Im Sang-chun, teamed up to create a grandiose yet warm-hearted work. Episodes 1 to 4 depict the free-spirited and innocent Ae-sun and the devoted and sincere Kwang-sik from their childhood to their school days.
The film then carefully depicts their early days leading up to their marriage, and we see them eventually have a precious daughter and live happily together as a family, despite their poverty.
Episodes 5 to 8 cover the birth of their son, the tragic events that befall their family, and how they overcome these challenges with the support of others.
The story also depicts the growth of Seung and Gwangshik as parents, and the growth of their children, including Ae-sun's daughter Geum-myung, who achieved her dream of going to college in Seoul.
The farewell scene between Ng-sik and Geum-myung at the bus terminal caused a big stir on social media, with many fans expressing their empathy and appreciation for the fact that their children are precious to them no matter how old they are.
Hot Topic. Episodes 9 to 12 focus on the love story between Geum-myeong and her boyfriend, Yong-beom, and the deep love between Ae-seung and Gwang-sik, who struggle for their daughter's happiness.
The story also depicts a mysterious encounter and relationship between Geum-myung, played by Ng-ho (from "Our Little Sisters", "Start-Up"), and Chun-seop, who works as a painter at the theater where Geum-myung works part-time.
