韓国与党議員「李在明氏、有罪でも無罪でも大統領選に出馬してはならない」
South Korean ruling party lawmaker: ”Lee Jae Myung should not run for president, whether found guilty or not”
Regarding the case of Lee Jae-myung, the head of the Democratic Party of Korea, violating the Public Offices Election Act, South Korean lawmaker Ahn Cheol-soo said, "Whether he is found guilty or not, he should not run for president.
This is a path that is in keeping with the principles of democracy," said Rep. Ahn, at a press conference held at the Daejeon City Council on the 26th, saying, "Voters should be able to choose after knowing all the information about the candidates.
A truly democratic election is one in which Lee is elected in a general election. He is currently in five trials on 12 charges, and he should only run with pride if he is found not guilty on all three counts."
Regarding the possibility of victory if an early presidential election is held, Rep. Ahn said, "It will be different from the elections we have seen so far, and it will be the key to determining the winner of the next presidential election.
"I support the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol," he said, but added, "I don't think the delay in the impeachment announcement is enough to force the Constitutional Court to impeach him."
"It is not appropriate to pressure the court to rush to a decision."
