According to the National Barrier Survey (NBS) conducted by four Korea research companies on the 24th to 26th of this month among 1,001 men and women aged 18 and over, the approval rating of the ruling party "People Power" was 36%, while the approval rating of the main opposition party "JoongAng Party" was 36%.
The Democratic Party's approval rating was also calculated at 36%, followed by the Fatherland Reform Party (7%), the New Reform Party (3%), and the Progressive Party (1%).
31% of respondents chose Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, as the most suitable person to become the next president.
Employment and Labor Minister Kim Moon-soo received 8%, Daegu Mayor Hong Jun-pyo received 6%, Seoul Mayor Oh Sehun received 5%, and former ruling party leader Han Dong-hoon received 6%.
Regarding the next president, 51% answered that "the opposition candidate should win in order to change the government," and 30% answered that "the ruling party candidate should win in order to re-establish the government."
Regarding the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol, 58% of respondents said that the Constitutional Court should "uphold the impeachment and dismiss him," while 30% said that it should "dismiss the impeachment and reinstate him to his duties."
The response rate was 37%.
