ASTRO unit ”MOONBIN & Sana” donate to youth with developmental disabilities in Korea

The Yongsan Welfare Foundation in South Korea held a seminar for developmentally disabled youths in need of help from the unit group "MOONBIN & SANA" of the popular group "ASTRO" at the Yongsan-gu Office yesterday (23rd).
The donation was made with the profits left by the late Moonbin during his time as a unit group. During his lifetime, Moonbin was known for his support in encouraging young people to become independent.
In honor of his will, Nam Geun-kyung, chairman of Fantagio, the planning company for ASTRO, held a charity event at the Yongsan Welfare Center on the day of the disabled.
The donation was delivered to the foundation and a ceremony was held. The donation was delivered through a local volunteer group. The Yongsan Welfare Foundation will support low-income, independent youth in the Yongsan-gu area according to the will of the donor.
The plan is to select 20 young people with developmental disabilities and those in their 60s and 70s to support them. District Mayor Park Heeyoung said at the ceremony, "The deceased's warm heart, which showed deep affection for the socially vulnerable, will be greatly appreciated by the young people in our community who are in difficult situations.
I am very grateful and valued that they have become a source of hope for me."
