The Ministry of the Interior and Safety said, "To issue a mobile ID card, the individual must personally visit an issuing agency such as a community center and go through the identity verification process.
"After verifying their identity, they will have to register their PIN and receive a physical ID with an integrated circuit chip built in," he said.
He continued, "When issuing a mobile ID card on a smartphone, the IC ID card will be recognized along with the registered PIN.
"Finally, there will be a process of using facial recognition to check whether the photo on the ID matches the photo of the applicant," he added.
