Since I established the company, this was the first album that we worked on together from start to finish, so I was excited, but also had a lot of anxiety.
I'm really happy and proud that everyone was so pleased with it ^^ This album expresses the emotion of "separation" in a unique way in each song, and it flows together as one.
It's a work that you can feel throughout the album. I hope you'll pay attention to the thrilling guitar melody and deep vocals in the title song "SHE."
Q. What is the concept of this album? I tried to portray parting with a loved one. That person could be a "girlfriend" like in the title song "SHE",
It could be a lover, a pet, or something that you cherish. I think you'll enjoy this album even more if you listen to it while relating it to your own situation.
Q. What do you want to convey to NLISS (Niel's fan name) through this album?
I wrote the song "Ocean" thinking of all of you in NLISS. If you listen to it and concentrate on the lyrics, I think you will understand the feelings I wanted to convey.
I'm sure it will reach everyone. I'm always grateful, proud, and really treasure it. Q. In what kind of scene would you like people to listen to the title song?
Listen to it on the bus on your way home, or in the middle of the night before you go to sleep, or whenever you suddenly remember something. I'm sure each of you has made your own music video.
I hope that through "SHE," you will feel as if my voice is expressing the feelings in your heart!
Q. Is there a favorite song on this album? Please tell us why. I really like all the songs, so it's really difficult to narrow it down to one.
If I had to choose, it would be "What Excuses Do You Have for Love?" I love driving, so I wanted a song to sing about driving, and this was the perfect song.
I felt really good when I finished the song. The song is really good, and it's a band style song that we play together, so it's very refreshing and perfect for the summer that's coming soon.
Q. What would you like to do with NLISS at the next event in Japan? Also, is there anything new you would like to do with your Japanese fans?
I would like to do something that allows me to communicate closely with my fans. I would also like to hear the opinions of the NLISS members.
