”NCT” Mark's first showcase tour in Japan was a success...even a big sing-along and an encore request

Mark (NCT) successfully completed his first showcase tour in Japan.

Mark successfully held “MARK The 1st Album ‘The Firstfruit’ SHOWCASE LIVE in JAPAN” in three cities in Japan, including Nagoya, Osaka, and Yokohama on the 19th, and all three performances were sold out. This showcase tour was Mark's 1st album “The Firstfruit” showcase live in Japan.

The showcase tour was held to commemorate the release of Mark's first solo album 'The Firstfruit' and featured a variety of songs including 'Righteous' with its impressive hip-hop performance, ‘Raincouver’ and 'Too Much' with its lighthearted live performance, and 'The Firstfruit' with its strong hip-hop performance. The song '1999', the title track of the album, was a light-hearted song that showed off his new side as a solo artist, and was received enthusiastically by the audience.

The atmosphere was heightened by Mark's charismatic stage presence, especially with the title track, '1999', which was well matched to the light rhythm of the song, and the audience's chorus. He spent time communicating with his fans in a calm and candid manner, sharing his feelings and behind-the-scenes experiences during the album production process, as well as his thoughts on his first solo project.

After the show, the audience was still calling out Mark's name and shouting for an encore, so he went on stage again and sang the title song '1999' with his fans, ending his solo showcase tour in a friendly and fun atmosphere.

Meanwhile, NCT 127, to which Mark belongs, will hold the finale performance of their fourth world tour “NEO CITY-THE MOMENTUM” at Tokyo Dome on May 21st~22nd.
