"Yon Geum" is about Hong Ran (Lee Jae Woo), the son of Joseon's largest merchant group who disappeared, who returns after 12 years with no memory and only his half-sister "Jae" can tell him his true identity.
This is a mystery melodrama historical drama that depicts the complicated feelings that grow between two people as they suspect each other. The behind-the-scenes footage shows the friendly atmosphere on set and the passion of the actors.
The two Hong Rans, Seo Woo-jin and Lee Jae-woo, who play the role of the young Hong Ran who disappeared 12 years ago, make a peace sign together.
Lee Jae Woo's charismatic figure riding a horse and Jo Bo A's stills, which are focused on monitoring and acting, are gathered together to vividly portray Hong Ran and Jay.
The two actors are seen in a rehearsal before filming begins, with director Kim Hong-sun directing Lee Jae-woo and Jung Ga Ram getting ready to work together.
The appearance reminds us of the tension-inducing confrontation scene between Hong Ran and Mu Jin (Jung Ga Ram) in the drama.
From the tablet that Wong is looking at to the hand mirror, whose design would not have been seen in the Joseon Dynasty, modern objects are captured naturally, delivering laughter with the unique charm of Behind Stills.
"Dongim" is a drama that combines mystery, melodrama, and period drama genres, and is also a drama that vividly captures the essence of the Joseon period through the passion of the production team and the actors.
The drama has been well received by media and viewers at home and abroad. Overseas media has commented that "the bittersweet ending leaves a deep impression" (TIME), "the excellent acting and the beautiful period visuals are in perfect harmony.
"The story has a complex and multi-layered structure, and the more you watch the more intriguing it gets" (Decider), "The beautiful sets, costumes, and majestic music will captivate your eyes" (South China
