According to TheBlock on the 20th (local time), Kraken is set to launch a cryptocurrency exchange across the European Union (EU).
The company plans to expand its currency derivatives business by providing relevant services to the 27 EU member states, as well as Iceland and Norway.
Kraken was granted crypto asset derivatives trading authorization by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) in February.
Obtained trading license.
