Kim Hee Won from the movie ”Hi.5”: ”Shin Gu would actually want to fall in love if he were younger”
During a recent interview with Herald POP at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Kim Hee-won shared an episode with Shin Gu.
Kim Hee-won had a short but intense co-starring role with Shin Gu in the movie "Hi.5". Shin Gu played the role of the final boss "Yong-chun" in the movie.
After receiving the transplant and gaining the supernatural power of absorbing "youth," the leader of a new religion, Yeong-chun, erases his powerless past self as he faces death and is reborn as a strong, vibrant, young person.
On this day, Kim Hee-won said, "We filmed the final battle scene over several days. We shot a lot on set, and when we finished, teacher Shin Gu looked like he was having a really good time.
He was smiling brightly and looked very happy, and I thought that he also liked finishing time." He continued, "I was really happy that he was able to have such a supernatural power.
When I asked her what she would like to do when she becomes the age of the character she played in the movie, she said, "I want to fall in love again." She also said, "I want to fall in love, eat lots of delicious food, and have more fun."
"I thought that because it's the dream of every actor to continue acting until he's as old as me, he would say, 'I have to work harder at acting,' but he said, 'I have to play more.
"I was impressed by him saying that," he emphasized. The movie "Hi.5" is currently being shown to rave reviews in Korean cinemas.
