「IHOTEU」、突然の全員契約解除…JDBエンターテインメント代表の不倫説が飛び火
”IHOTEU” suddenly terminates all contracts... JDB Entertainment CEO's infidelity rumors spread
Amidst allegations of adultery surrounding the representative of South Korea's JDB Entertainment, the scandal has spread to a girl group affiliated with a subsidiary company.

On the 17th, JDB Entertainment stated, “We are thoroughly investigating the facts surrounding the recent allegations, and the parties involved have informed the company of their intention to resign. We sincerely apologize for any concern this matter may have caused.”

Recently, JDB Entertainment CEO A has been embroiled in an extramarital affair scandal. Reports emerged that A, a married man with a wife and children, had engaged in an inappropriate relationship with girl group member B.

Along with this, videos showing what are believed to be A and B embracing and engaging in physical contact on the street were posted online, causing shock. Netizens began speculating about B.

A appeared on the MBC variety show Omniscient Interfering View, and B, who was suspected of being his affair partner, was revealed to be an artist under EFG Music, a subsidiary of JDB Entertainment.

As a result of the rumors surrounding A and B, the girl group under EFG Music has consecutively terminated their exclusive contracts. First, on the 13th, the group “IHOTEU” announced the termination of their exclusive contract with member Mina, and it was later revealed that the contracts of the remaining two members would also be terminated.

“IHOTEU” was a well-known underground idol group, but it suddenly disbanded. EFG Music stated, “Following careful consideration, ‘IHOTEU’ decided to terminate their contracts with EFG Music, taking into account the direction and emotional well-being of each artist.”

Additionally, they apologized to the artists and fans, stating, “Currently, the representative is in a position where they cannot directly participate in resolving the situation, and as a result, the internal operational team is taking over the management and proceeding with necessary measures in stages.”

Other artists under EFG Music, such as live idol NANA and the band “HIJK,” have also had their contracts terminated or disbanded. A, who was at the center of the controversy, reportedly informed the company of his intention to resign.

The aftermath of A's alleged affair has led to sudden contract terminations and disbandments among artists under the subsidiary EFG Music, sparking a chain reaction.
