Actor Choo Young Woo reveals his story from having his college acceptance revoked to failing all TV series auditions (You Quiz on the Block)

Actor Choo Young Woo looked back on his troubled acting challenge.
In the episode of "BLOCK," actor Choo Young Woo was revealed. On this day's broadcast, he first appeared in a student interview at Korea National University of Arts six years ago.
Actor Choo Young Woo, who made his first TV appearance, returned to the show. Choo Young Woo, who was accepted into Korea National University of Arts, Sejong University, and Seoul Arts University, said, "The truth is, I took a year off. I didn't tell anyone.
"I was accepted into Sejong University as a student, but then I was informed that my acceptance was cancelled. I actually didn't know that the deadline for paying the enrollment fee had been brought forward," he said.
Choo Young Woo seems confused even now when he thinks about it, saying, "I had already become good friends with my classmates, and even went to see performances with my professors... but my acceptance was revoked.
"I had filmed a video of myself passing the exam at the cram school and my friends were celebrating with me," he said, "but then my world fell apart. It was the first goal I'd ever achieved after a year of hard work, and now it was gone.
"I lost all motivation for life," he said. Choo Young Woo said he auditioned for over 100 shows after entering university, and will be appearing in 2021-2022 in Korea.
I tried out for almost every audition I was offered and failed. I think it takes talent to fail them all," he said, unable to look up in embarrassment. MCs Yu Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho also asked, "How did you manage to get through all the auditions?"
"Am I going to be demoted?" and "I'm sorry, but what should I do?" Choo Young Woo recalled, "I was earnest and nervous, and my acting skills weren't as good as they are now."
Choo Young Woo, who auditioned for most TV series such as "Shulp," "Penthouse," "Resurrection," and "DP," said, "I went to the auditions and was selected by the Korea Arts Center.
I was often asked, "Are you really a former member of school?" I couldn't act. I remember the comment, "You have to try harder. You have to practice your facial expressions more." I was so earnest.
Choo Young Woo said, "My father told me, 'If you don't become a successful actor, you have to work and earn a living because we're not rich. You have to prepare to get a qualification.
So I got angry and said, "I'm going to act even if I don't make any money." Looking back, it seems like it was a time when I gained a lot of experience.
Choo Young Woo nodded in response to Seok's words, saying, "Anyway, now that I have a short-term goal in mind, the audition, I've decided to live the rest of my life to the fullest."
Choo Young Woo, who was unanimously awarded the Best New Actor award at the Baeksang Arts Awards, said, "My mother is suffering a lot right now. I'm so sorry to see this.
Choo Young Woo, who went to see his mother immediately after the awards ceremony, commented, "I gave her the bouquet and the trophy and she was very happy.
Choo Young Woo said, "I've been living alone for seven years, and I've started living with my parents a year ago. I want to spend more time with them, and if there's any danger,
I moved here so that I could live nearby and get help if something bad happened, but it's nice to meet up and say hello when I go back and forth." Choo Young Woo said, "My parents had a lot of trouble because of me.
"They helped me both emotionally and mentally. So I always think that I should give back what I've received," she said, adding that she wants to travel abroad with her parents.
